Centrally Located in Burnett Lane, Brisbane’s trendiest CBD Lane way, El Matador is a place for lovers of real and innovative food in a relaxed setting, where service is king. AREAS AVAILABLE The Stage The Stage is an elevated space situated in the heart of the action. Perfect to mingle. Suitable for up to 20 guests for seated dining, or for up 30 guests offering seated and standing accommodation for a drinks and finger food event. To reserve this space for breakfast or lunch from 8am to 3pm Monday to Saturday a $2000 minimum spend applies. To secure a booking a $500 deposit is required. To reserve this space for dinner from 4pm Monday to Saturday a $2500 minimum spend applies. To secure a reservation a $625 deposit is required. The Dining Room The Dining Room offers private booth seating while remaining part of the action near the bar. Suitable for up to 30 guests for seated dining or a drinks and finger food event. To reserve this space for breakfast or lunch from 8am to 3pm Monday to Saturday a $3000 minimum spend applies. To secure a booking a $750 deposit is required To reserve this space for dinner from 4pm Monday to Saturday a $3500 minimum spend applies. To secure a booking a $875 deposit is required CATERING Parties with a private area receive table service, all food and beverage will go on a group bill to be settled at the conclusion of the event. Groups are welcome to order à la carte on arrival, alternatively you may like to prearrange catering from our function’s menu. To ensure smooth service we recommend groups for 20 guests or more to pre-arrange catering. Please follow the link to view our functions menus for full details. To allow time to make the necessary arrangements, notification of dietary requirements and catering orders are required to be confirmed 72 hours prior to dining at the latest. Past this time, we may not be able to honour the request. BEVERAGES Groups are welcome to order beverages on consumption, alternatively we also offer beverage packages. For groups wishing to have beverages charged on consumption, to assure availability of your preferred wine we recommend preselecting one sparkling wine, two white wines and two red wines. All other beverages will be available on request. If you would like to make any restrictions to beverages you permit to be charged to the group bill, please let us know and we will happily oblige. E.G. No cocktails or spirits - beer, wine and soft drink service only. Any beverages selections made less than 7 days prior to dining, or on the day of the event, are subject to availability.
